What’s included?

When you’ve got kids, costs can add up. Not to mention the extra worry about how your loved ones might cope should the worst happen.

So for every child under age 4, we’re offering parents or guardians £15,000 of life insurance completely free for one year.

Should you die, we’ll pay out the full amount and your loved ones can use the money in any way they need.

You don’t have to buy an Aviva product, but you will need to meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Am I eligible?

To get Free Parent Life Cover, you must:

  • Apply before your child’s 4th birthday
  • Live in the UK and remain there for the 12-month policy term (Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar excluded)
  • Be named on the birth certificate, full adoption certificate, special guardianship order or final residence order of your child
  • Be aged between 18 and 66
  • Not have been diagnosed with or treated for cancer within the last 12 months, including leukaemia and lymphoma
  • Not already have our Free Parent Life Cover or previously held cover from Aviva for the same child you’re applying for now

To apply you must be in the UK, have a legal right to live in the UK and consider your main home as being in the UK, with no current intention of moving anywhere else permanently.

The UK does not include the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or Gibraltar.

If you’re moving home, use your current address. You can change this after you have moved.
