Tesco insurance have partnered with Aviva who are experts in family and mortgage financial protection, helping you to look after what matters most. Aviva will provide, underwrite and administer your life insurance policy.

Before you start

  • You’ve been transferred from Tesco insurance to Aviva to complete your quote. So, when you see references to ‘Aviva’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’, they refer to Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited.
  • You must be a UK resident, at least 18 at the time of applying, and no older than 77. For a joint policy, the maximum age applies to the oldest life covered.
  • Make sure to read the Life Insurance Plan policy summary and policy conditions to ensure the cover is right for you. You can also find out more about our insurance services and about how we protect your data.
  • As part of this quote, the details you provide below will be used to match your data with Tesco Clubcard. If your details match, a discount will be applied.
  • If you’re a Clubcard Member, you’ll receive Clubcard Prices for the duration of your policy.
Your data

The data controllers responsible for processing your personal information are Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited ("Aviva") as the insurer of the product and Tesco Personal Finance Limited ("Tesco Insurance") as the introducer of the product.

Aviva uses your personal information for a number of purposes including to decide if we can offer you insurance and to generate a quote for you. This information will include personal and health data for all those to be covered. Aviva will also share some of your personal information with Tesco Insurance for their own purposes, including determining whether you are a Tesco Clubcard customer. You have certain data rights in relation to your personal information, including a right to access personal information, a right to correct inaccurate personal information and a right to erase or suspend our use of your personal information.
