Annual Trip - Annual multi-trip covers for any number of short-duration trips of up to 31 days throughout the year in the UK and abroad. Maximum trip length can be extended to 45, 60 or 90 days.

Single Trip - Single trip covers if you only have one holiday or business trip planned during the year. Single trip may then be best value for you. Single trip insurance covers a trip of up to 120 days.

If you have already made travel arrangements and do not have travel insurance you should start your cover immediately to ensure that you are covered in case you need to cancel your trip before you go. You can select a cover start date within 30 days of today’s date.

Add Additional Travellers

Additional travellers don't have to live with you, and any adults named will be insured when travelling without the main policyholder

When you add additional travellers, you're confirming they know how we use their data as explained in our privacy policy. When adding children, where you don't have parental responsibility, you're confirming their parent or guardian knows how we use their child's data

Important Information About Your Health and the Health of Others

We can't provide cover where there are:

  • Undiagnosed symptoms – there is no cover for any symptoms that you or anyone else who will be covered by this policy are aware of, for which you have sought but not yet received a diagnosis.
  • Reasons your travel plans may change – there is no cover if you know of a reason why the trip may be cancelled or you may need to come home early, for example if a close relative or travelling companion is seriously ill and this could reasonably be expected to affect your travel plans.

Does any person to be insured have any existing medical conditions?

By 'existing medical condition’ we mean any diagnosed illness, injury or disease where in the last 12 months any person to be insured has:

  • been prescribed medication, including newly prescribed or repeat medication; and/or
  • received or is waiting for medical treatment, tests or investigations; and/or
  • been referred to, or under the care of a specialist; and/or
  • been admitted to hospital or had surgery.

Please note: You do not need to tell us about contraceptive medication.

Do you have any other active policies with Aviva?

Aviva offer a wide range of products for example Personal and Workplace Pensions, Life, Motor or Home insurance.

Assumptions

Please check whether the following statements are correct for you.

You and any other traveller named:

  • Are a UK resident (a UK resident is a person whose main home is in the UK, is registered with a UK doctor and is liable to pay taxes in the UK). You must have been resident in the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) for at least 6 months at the time of buying the policy.
  • Are not travelling against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
  • Have had less than 3 travel insurance claims in the past 3 years.
  • Have not already commenced the trip to be covered and your journey begins and ends in the UK.
  • Are not travelling against medical advice or to receive medical treatment or advice abroad.
  • Have not been told you have a terminal illness.
  • Have never had travel insurance refused, cancelled or special terms imposed.
  • Have not received any criminal conviction for fraud, dishonesty or deception in the last 5 years.

This only applies to convictions that are not spent under the 'Rehabilitation of Offenders Act as amended by the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offender Act 2012'. The information comes from:

  • what you’ve already told us
  • data we already hold about you (including from other quotes and policies with us)
  • publicly available sources
  • other organisations we trust
  • data about your device, general location and how you interact with our website

We use automated processes to make decisions
