European cover

Your European breakdown cover will begin 24 hours after your policy starts.

Onward Travel in the UK If your vehicle can’t be repaired before you plan to leave, we’ll arrange a hire car for up to 14 consecutive days so you can continue your journey to Europe.

Roadside Assistance in Europe We’ll send help to fix your vehicle at the roadside, or we’ll get you to a garage and pay for an initial inspection to identify the fault.

Garage Labour Charges We’ll contribute up to £150 towards labour as long as repairs can be completed in seven working hours.

Onward travel in Europe We’ll keep you moving if your vehicle can’t be repaired before you plan to leave. We’ll either arrange a hire car for up to 14 consecutive days (or until fixed if sooner), or cover up to £500 for alternative accommodation expenses, or up to £1,000 for alternative transport.

Missed connection If you miss a pre-booked train or ferry, we’ll cover you for up to £500 for a standard-class replacement ticket.

Getting your vehicle home We’ll pay up to the market value of your vehicle to get it back to the UK if it can’t be repaired by your planned return date. We’ll also arrange a hire car for 14 consecutive days while you wait for your vehicle. You won’t be covered if the cost of repairing your vehicle is greater than its market-value.

Replacement driver if a medical expert confirms that you’re too ill to keep driving
